 Over the last five years my involvement in Community Theater has progressed from being a “stage mom” to being involved in as many aspects of a production as possible. I joined Webster Theatre Guild in 2002 in “The Sound of Music” and have stayed involved with WTG ever since. Two years ago, I was asked to join the Board of Directors, and have since served as its Secretary, Storage Room Liaison and Photographer, and as a member of the By-laws, Web-site, Grant, and Publicity Committees. I chaired both the “Annie” Publicity Committee, and the Program Committee for Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast”. Beyond WTG, I worked at KODAK for 15 years, and have assisted with Penfield’s Young Open and Honest Players, Gananda Community Youth Theatre, Pittsford Musicals, Penfield High School Drama Club, Irondequoit Theatre Guild and Sing Out. In 2005 I was recognized by Monroe County for being an “Asset Builder” because of my involvement with area youth in community theatre. I am proud to be a member of WTG, and hope to continue to assist this organization in bringing quality theatre to our community!
